RRBC Men’s Meetings are held on the third Monday of each month at 7pm.
This group is welcome to men of all ages. We meet to chat, share food and fellowship, and listen to talks. Some of our meetings have included the now-legendary ‘Curry Night’, cooked by our resident chief-chef, Dave Evans. We also hold an annual Christmas meal in places such as the Hall Inn, Usk. Our previous Pastor, Rev. Gareth Evans has also joined us to speak at a meal in the Parkway Hotel, in which we invited partners and family members.
Our meetings are always non-secular, though our speakers can be either. The talks at our meetings are always extremely varied in topic and interesting. Past examples include; information about doorstep scams, general crime prevention, information on Uganda, and an historical talk on the Chepstow/ Aust Ferry service prior to the opening of the original Severn Bridge. Our Pastor gave an informative talk on mission and her trip to the Holy Land. You always come away having learnt lots, often about our local area.
There is always room for more men to join us. Everyone is welcome and you can bring friends along.
