Richmond Road Baptist Church is a warm and welcoming family church located in the village of Pontnewydd.  We seek to serve the community and share the love of Jesus with all.

**CORONAVIRUS UPDATE**

Following recent guidance, we regret to announce that all groups and services are suspended until further notice.

In the meantime, we aim to keep our church community connected through our WhatsApp group, Facebook page, Zoom meetings, website, email and post.

If you’d like more information on our online groups or you’d like to join, we’d love for you to get in touch by contacting us on 07739 722842 or rrbc.cwmbran@gmail.com

As a fellowship, we believe that being a Christian is not just for Sundays but a 24/7 lifestyle. In everything we do and say, we desire to honour God and share His love with everyone. We don’t always get it right but we aim to please Him because we love Him.

On Sundays, we’re currently holding a virtual WhatsApp service, which is also emailed or posted out to those without WhatsApp. During these services, we learn more about God’s love for us – how we can live in ways that please Him and how we can encourage each other, as well as love our world.

During the service itself, we sing a mixture of traditional and new songs, pray for our world, read the Bible and have a time to reflect on what we have read, as well as how it can impact our everyday lives.

We share Communion on the 1st Sunday of every month in the evening – via a Zoom meeting – and the 3rd Sunday of the month in the morning through our WhatsApp group. Here, we remember the sacrifice Jesus made for everyone on the cross. He died because He loves us and wants a relationship with us. He offers us His forgiveness. His body was broken and His blood was shed so that He might rise again and have victory over death, and that we might have life everlasting.

If you want to learn a little bit more about the virtual groups and services we’re currently running, please have a look under the What’s On tab.
