Baby Group – every Tuesday from 9.30 – 11.30am during school term time. A group for parents, grandparents, carers and their babies (0-3) to come and play, sing nursery rhymes, enjoy a snack, relax, talk and for the adults – tea and coffee! Each session is £2 per child.
Prayer Meeting – every Tuesday in Chapel house from 7pm – 8pm. An opportunity to pray for our community, the world and what we read about in the media, our colleagues and friends, worries and concerns. Everyone is welcome and praying out loud is not a pre-requisite for attendance. Some who attend enjoy praying out loud, some are silent, some share what is on their heart but all are passionate about seeing God at work in our world and want to see heart’s and lives impacted by the power of the Holy Spirit.
Coffee Morning – every Wednesday 10am-12noon in Chapel house. Come and enjoy freshly brewed coffee, tea on tap, biscuits and other treats in a friendly, safe space. Drop in to say hello and stay for 10 minutes or settle in and stay all morning, come and share in some company and chat.

Sunday Services – every Sunday at 11am and at 6pm we join together to praise God. We read from the Bible, pray for our world and seek God’s guidance for our lives. J.A.M – our children’s group runs every week for children of all ages during the service. Every is welcome!
Cwtches – Cwtches is an informal Parent group for bereaved parents to support each other with love. Losing a child is facing our worst nightmare and living through it. But our children are precious throughout eternity; we lived with them and continue to know their presence every day of our lives. In that sense we are never separated from each other. So sharing that experience is good for us. Talking about our special child from the first flip in the womb to the untimely end of life is chance to celebrate each precious day we shared. ‘ Cwtches’ is not counselling but is a support group – organised by those who have lost a child to share mutual support with you who have lost your precious child; to talk, share pictures and stories and to listen to each other in truth and openness, without judgement or weariness of endless cycles of the stories of love we have known and still know.
We will hold an open safe space at chapel house once every month on a Thursday afternoon to begin with and see where it leads. If you think this might be helpful to you, come along and try it out.
We meet in the living room and light refreshments are available.
Community Litter Pick – Once a month we hope to be a blessing to the village of Pontnewydd by litter picking. We meet at the church at 10am and litter picking along Richmond Road, into the village and depending on time and size of team possibly heading down into the park off Brookfields Terrace. We would encourage those who would like to be involved to wear suitable clothes and shoes. We will be providing hi-viz jackets, protective gloves, black bin bags and we will have litter pickers (so bending should be minimal). We return to the church for a hot cup of tea / coffee and a biscuit at 11am to share any experiences. Everyone is welcome to get involved, if you are able to register your interest with either Dave Tingey (firstname.lastname@example.org) or Pastor Emma (07739 722842)that would be great.
